Linda Ames Photographic Art (Providence Canyon GA)

This is Providence Canyon, also known as Georgia's Little Grand
Canyon. It is located about ten miles west of Lumpkin, Georgia,
on GA Highway 39C. What the visitor sees at the park is only a
small part of the canyon area. Other sites can be seen from the
air, but cannot be visited on foot. Hiking down into the canyon
is allowed.

Linda Ames Photographic Art (Lakota Wolf Preserve)

The fox, the bobcat and three wolf packs live in New Jersey at the Lakota Wolf Preserve. They are exquisite! When I saw the wolves in September of 2002, all three packs howled in unison. If you have never experienced this, it is magnificent. Truly breathtaking!

Linda Ames Photographic Art (Flora)

I love flowers and I particularly love the paintings of Georgia O'Keefe. Since I don't paint, I do my best to offer digital "painting" through my photos and Adobe Photoshop Elements v.3.

Linda Ames Photographic Art

This blogspot is dedicated to my photography. I am an amateur photographer living in Georgia. I love to travel, even if only "down the road a piece", and capture the beauty of our living world. I also love to take the photos that I have captured and edit them, creating a different form of photographic art. As you look through these photos, you will note some duplicate pictures showing the original and then one or more edited formats. (You can double click on each photo to view it in a larger format.)

I hope you enjoy this spot and will return often to experience new creations.

Peace in your journey through your life and our precious world.

Linda

This tree lives in Cooper Creek Park in Columbus, Georgia. It has been fun to watch it develop over the years.

These gaseous photos were taken during the lift off of a NASA shuttle in early evening on February 7 of 2001. The entire lift off was breath-taking.
